Mark "Beaver" Edward Brown passed away in West Monroe, Louisiana on April 20, 2026, at the age of 52. Known for his quick wit and larger-than-life personality, Mark brought laughter wherever he went. He had a deep love for music, a strong cup of coffee always close at hand, and a hearty appreciation for good food. He also had a well-known fondness for beautiful women, a trait he carried with his signature charm and playful spirit. A natural storyteller and jokester, he never missed a chance to tease, play a prank, or keep those around him smiling—sometimes at their own expense. Mark's humor, charisma, and unmistakable spirit made him truly one of a kind.

Mark is survived by relatives, Danny Ray Brown, Kimberly Ann Alsobrook, Harold Norris Dubree (Lori), Patsy Ann Bell, William Bradford Brown, Shannon Renee Brown and Donna Michele Lingo; aunt, Maxine Brown; as well as numerous other cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Edward Brown; mother Vicki La Verne (Clenney) Brown; uncle who raised him, William Ben Brown; aunt who raised him, Sarah Margaret Brown; uncles Billy Ray Brown and Charles Bradford Brown, special friend, Melvy Coker.

A memorial service is planned for 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church near Hodge.  Bro. Robert D. Tyler will officiate.
