Mrs. Maria Elena Williams, age 57 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Born Thursday, December 23, 1965 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Spears.

If you knew Maria, you knew her laugh. She loved her family, children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews immensely and loved cooking and having a good time with her loved ones surrounding her.  She especially loved her cats as if they were her own children. If you knew Maria, you never had to wonder where you stood.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Chris Williams; father, James A. Barron; children, Stephanie Kalie (JC), Sierra Fredericks (Chris Maxwell), Cody Edmonds (Amber Cupp), Tristan Fredericks and Tommy Spears, Jr.; her twelve grandchildren who will forever cherish their "Meme"; siblings, Barbara Barron (Ronnie), Jaime Barron Tam (Lane) and Dallas Barron.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Miles officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Tannehill.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until time of services.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Lane Tam, Tristen Fredericks, Cody Edwards, Tim Zimmerman, T. J. Carson, Jason Blundell, and Jason Blundell.
