Mrs. Margie Dell Kuhlmann, age 84 of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Born Tuesday, May 3, 1938 in Montgomery, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie Dean Lang and Otho Lang; husband of 60 years, Reginald Kuhlmann; son, Douglas Robb Kuhlmann; grandsons, Dustin Lee Kuhlmann and Jacob Robb Kuhlmann; and great grandson, Brenson Lee Kuhlmann.

Mrs. Kuhlmann taught school for many years in several parishes across the state. She then worked with her husband as the co-owner/operator of the Montgomery Tank Company for 15 years. Mrs. Kuhlmann was a graduate of Montgomery High School, where she played basketball, making her an avid basketball fan for the rest of her life. Mrs. Kuhlman was a loving wife and grandmother and never met a stranger. She made sure to pass along her excellent values and moral code to all of her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Reginald Lee Kuhlmann (Stacy); grandchildren, Janna Kay Kuhlmann, Reginald Kade Kuhlmann (Crystal), and Rylan Lee Kuhlmann (Riley); 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Eva Margaret Lang (Scott LeMay); and numerous sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private family viewing will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Montgomery, from 2:00 PM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Montgomery with Rev. Dominick DiCarlo officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Cemetery, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
