Margaret Poisso Jordan, 64 of Olla, Louisiana was received in to heaven on Monday, September 5, 2022, at her residence in Olla, Louisiana surrounded by her loving family.

Born Friday, June 20, 1958 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late James and Margie Hughes Poisso. She was the wife of Phillip Crawford of Olla, Louisiana.

Mrs. Margaret was a faithful member of Standard Baptist Church in Olla. She enjoyed baking cookies, fishing, and certainly spending time with her grandchildren. She spent her working career as a registered nurse and was retired from the medical field.

She was predeceased in death by her first husband, Lindy Jordan; parents, James and Margie Hughes Poisso; sons, Lindy Leon Jordan, Jr., infant twins, James and John Jordan; one brother, Bobby Poisso and nephew Adam Poisso.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Phillip Crawford; daughters, Tiffany Taylor (Michael Dee), Kristy Frieu (David); Sons, Phil Crawford (Ashley), Matt Poisso (Lissy), Matt Jordan (Chasity); grandchildren, Dustin Jordan, Sully Gardner, Cloey, Mollie, Jasmyn, Lucy Taylor, Hallie and Heidi Crawford, and Josie Gardner; one brother, Jimmy Poisso (Lois); sister in law Jana M. Poisso.  She is also survived by nephews James Poisso, Aaron Poisso nieces Jennifer Poisso (Chris), Allison Carpenter (Nick) great nephews, Jameson Carpenter and James Poisso(4th) and great nieces Savannah Carpenter, Haley Self, Rhiannon Poisso, Kate Carpenter, Madison Self and Violet Crabtree.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at Standard Baptist Church, 263 Standard Church Road of Olla, Louisiana with the Rev. Phil Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Zion Hill Cemetery, 1272 Tannehill Road Winnfield, LA.

Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are Aubrey Anding, Cameron Smith, Tyler Strickland, Dustin Jordan, Avery Gardner, and Johnny Ruddell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Welch and Michael D. Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Standard Baptist Church in Olla.
