Allen "Mac" McDougald Coleman, age 59 a lifelong resident of Jena, Louisiana passed from this life on Thursday, October 12, 2023. He was graduate from Jena High School. He worked the last 20 plus years as an officer at what is now The Geo Group.

He was born to the union of Allen Davis Coleman and Pat (McDougald) Coleman on Thursday, September 24, 1964, in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Mac is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann (Loftin) Coleman, all of his parents, grandparents Edgar Allen Coleman & Margaret Inez (Allen) Coleman, Thomas A. McDougald & Etta McDougald, an aunt Mary Sue Burlew, and two brothers Jeff Morace and Andre` Morace.

Those left to cherish his memory are three sisters Terri Ayers, Kathy Vincent, both of Jena, and LaVonne Baddeaux of Sandy Lake, a brother AA Morace, of Little Creek Community, an aunt Margaret Ruth McCartney, of Wetumpka, AL, an uncle Jimmy M. Coleman, of Bossier City, La, six nieces Dawn Masters, Kaci Ayers, Kerri Vincent, Meagan Morace, Breanna Morace, and Gabby Morace, seven nephews John Allen Barrett, Austin Morace, Patrick Baddeaux, Kyle Baddeaux, Chase Morace, Gray Morace, and Zack Morace, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at 5:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Thursday morning from 8:30am until 9:30am at which time family and friends will go to the cemetery.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at 10:00am with Bro. Johnnie Phillips officiating in the Woodland Cemetery, on Hwy. 84. east of Jena, under the directions of Kinner & Stevens.

Serving Mac and the family as pallbearers will be John Allen Barrett, Sean Masters, Andrew Masters, Charlie Barrett, Randy Carson, Robby Friend, and Dale Parrott.
