Lula Marie Jones, age 58, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Lula was born on February 6, 1967, in Texas City, Texas, to the late Willis Elton Jones and Alma Frankie Lee Arnold Jones. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt whose life was marked by quiet strength and a deep devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Monroe W. Jones; two sons, Matthew Joseph Jones and Willie Joe Jones; and her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Edith Jones Norris, Willis Jones Jr., and Troy Jones Sr.; her daughter-in-law, Crystal Jones; several grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection.

In accordance with her wishes, Lula was cremated. No memorial services are planned at this time.
