Mrs. Louise Sweat, 83, of Georgetown, LA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in Georgetown, LA. Born on May 8, 1941, in Winnfield, LA, she lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family and community.

Louise was a faithful member of Urania United Pentecostal Church. A graduate of Winnfield Senior High School, she enjoyed attending horse shows with her husband and treasured every moment spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Elijah Clark, Sr., and Erma Drucilla Allbritton Clark; her brothers, Charles Elijah Clark, Jr., Melvin Jiles Clark, Billy Ray Clark, Jerry Parker Clark, Jimmy Dee Clark, and Robert Allen Clark; and her sister, Mildred Marie Rooney.

Louise is survived by her beloved husband, Harvel Sweat, of Georgetown, LA; her three children, Johnny Laru Sweat (Kim), Lisa Marsdon (Allen), and Angela Owens; her sister, Glenda Clark Pendarvis; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation held at Urania United Pentecostal Church on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. Clay Hutto. Mrs. Sweat will be laid to rest at Georgetown Cemetery.
