Mr. Louie Randall "Randy" Creel, age 53 of Holden, Louisiana, formerly of Winnfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Born Thursday, August 22, 1968 in Ruston, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin Creel and Betty Lou Brand Creel; brother, Mitchell Creel; nephew, Silas Creel, Jr.

Mr. Creel was retired from Noranda Alumini Plant where he worked as a shift maintenance supervisor and was also a first responder. He loved his family and will be remembered as a "jack-of-all trades" who loved to work.

He was also a 25-year member of the Masonic Fraternity, receiving the degrees of Masonry in Eastern Star Lodge No. 151 in Winnfield, later joining Carrietta Lodge No. 312, and for the past 20 years, a member of Livingston Lodge No. 160 in Hammond.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kendra Creel; children, Shay Creel, Bethany Sunde (Anthony), Abigail Creel and Bradley Creel; grandchildren, Charlie and Dax Sunde and Asher Cook; brothers, John Dalton Creel, Silas Creel (Kath) and Matt Creel (Stacy).

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Tyler, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery, in Joyce.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Bradley Creel, Craig Cook, Matt Creel, Tony Sonnier, Doc Parker, Anthony Sunde, Nic Cook and Blake Hamel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
