Linna Jane Walker of Quitman, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the age of 82.

Linna Jane loved the Lord with all her heart and lived her life as a faithful servant of Christ. One of her favorite Bible verses was Ezekiel 16:6 — a verse she often shared and held close to her heart as a reminder of God's grace and mercy.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Linna Jane's greatest joy was her family. She especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Known for her gentle spirit and loving heart, she made everyone feel welcome and cared for.

Linna Jane was also a proud and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. Many Sundays were spent wrapped up in her Cowboys blanket, cheering on her team with enthusiasm and heart. She could often be found tending to her flowers and keeping her yard looking beautiful — a reflection of the care and love she poured into all things.

She and her beloved husband, M.H., shared many wonderful years together. The two enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with their dear friends, creating cherished memories filled with laughter and fellowship.

Linna Jane's kindness, faith, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, M.H. Walker; children, Mark Walker (Lisa), Phillip Walker and Stephen Walker (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Marquis Walker (Shelby), Austin Walker (Ashton), Alannah Walker (Luke Hofer), Rebecca Walker, Megan Walker, John Phillip Walker, Abigail Walker, Anna Walker, Stevie Walker and Carlie Walker; great-grandchildren, Emersyn and Kemper Walker; daughter-in-law, Ashley Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends,

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Wells; mother Carrie (Pullig) Wells; infant baby brother; son, Timothy Walker; infant children- Reggie, Kelley and Shelley; and grandparents (Pullig and Wells); and daughter-in-law, Kelly (Harper) Walker.
