Mrs. Linda Ann Deas Wendt, age 81 of Taft, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022.

Born Friday, September 13, 1940 in Hudson, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Avanell Deas and Leroy Deas; infant son, David A. Wendt; and brother, Roy Wayne Deas, Sr.

Mrs. Wendt was a native of Hudson and a graduate of Dodson High School. She retired as an executive assistant from Chrysler Motor Company.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 56 years, Alvin Joseph Wendt, Jr.,; in-laws, Rosie Dale Deas, Patricia Wendt, and Russell Wendt; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at New Hope Cemetery with Rev. Robert Leach officiating.
