Linda Dianne Morphis Stapleton, age 72 of Trout, Louisiana passed from this life on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

She was born to the union of Billy Jack Morphis and Socorro Aida Gonzalez Morphis on Friday, August 22, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas.

Ms. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and a son Charlie Bill Stapleton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Susie Pritchard (Charlie), of Levelland, Texas,
two sons Gary Jack Stapleton (Amy), of Jena, and Curt Stapleton (Kelly), of Jena, nine (9) grandchildren and five (5) great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Searcy Baptist Church, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Searcy Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Hudnall and Bro Paul Daily officiating,

Linda will be laid to rest in the Hawthorne Cemetery, in the Little Creek Community of Trout, under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve Ms. Linda and the family as pallbearers will be Cody Pritchard, Dillon Humphries, Logan Stapleton, Jacob Stapleton, Landon Stapleton, and Zac Stapleton.
