Lester Ray Couch, age 73 of Olla, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

He was born to the union of Daniel Ruben and Leta L. (Thomas) Couch in Jena, La. on Thursday, February 24, 1949.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother Chester Jay Couch.

Those left to love and miss him are his wife of 23 years, Mary Lynn (Carter) Couch, a brother R.V. Couch, Summerville, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 25, 2022, in the Summerville Baptist Church, of the Summerville Community, Louisiana with Rev. Jesse Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 10:00AM until time of service.

Lester will be laid to rest following the service in the Summerville Baptist Cemetery under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are, Matthew Henderson, James Henderson, Henry Carter, Alan Carter, and Tracy Carter.
