Mrs. Lena Lee Brantley, 79 of Winnfield, Louisiana was received in to heaven on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Born Monday, August 23, 1943 in Robeline, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Orie Jordan and the late Vivian Nugent Jordan. She was the wife of Mr. John Crooks.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Tammy Lynn Hight of Winnfield, LA, and Margaret "Nezzie" Prince (Mark) of Acworth, GA; brother, Ernest Jordan (Sherry) of Jasper, TX; her grandchildren, Allen Hight (Pam), Matthew Prince, Nicholas Prince, and Nicole Prince; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lena spent her working career as a housekeeper and was a sweet spirited soul everyone grew to love. She especially loved her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Orie and Vivian Nugent Jordan; son, Curtis Ray Foshee; one daughter, Brenda Foshee; brothers, Wesley Jordan, and William Jordan; son-in-law, Carl Hight.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Southern Funeral Home located at 202 E. Lafayette St. Winnfield, Louisiana 71483 with the Rev. Billy Prince officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories, Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Porter Creel, Clay LaCroix, Jacob Tinnerello, Allen Hight, Zachary Hight, and Mark Prince. Honoraries will be Paul McCain and Ronnie McCain.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the funeral home.
