Mr. Lawrence Ferrier, Jr. affectionately known to all as "Pineburr" of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the age of 75 years. He was a retired log truck driver whose greatest joys in life were centered on his family, his shop, and the ballpark.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Joyce Ferrier; his parents, Lawrence Ferrier, Sr. and Josephine Galloway Ferrier; brothers, Lawrence Nelson Ferrier and Raymond Ferrier; father-in-law, Alen Coolman, Jr.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife, Cynthia Marie Ferrier; daughters, Hannah Ferrier, Tammy Price, and Samantha Davis and husband Larry; sons, Drake Ferrier, Cody Ferrier (Ashley), and Randy Ferrier; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Curley Ferrier Kyzer and Anita Ferrier Waxley and husband David; brother, Greg Williams; and sister-in-law, Linda Ferrier.
Mr. Ferrier especially loved watching his grandchildren play ball and could often be found at the ballpark cheering them on—he was proud to be Paislee and Aryaa Davis's number one fan. He also enjoyed working in his shop alongside his son Cody, where many hours were spent sharing stories, laughter, and hard work. He loved his fur baby, Roscoe.
