Mrs. LaJuana Saathoff, age 82 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Saturday,
September 11, 2021. LaJuana was born in Kermit, Texas, to Miller B. and Carrie
Viola (Spurlock) Roye. LaJuana was an avid reader who volunteered at her
community medical office and library, and was an ardent hobbyist who enjoyed
ceramics, wood carving, travel and RV'ing with her husband Stanley, playing cards
and games with her friends and family, driving around in her golf cart and much
more. LaJuana easily made friends wherever she lived with her family, including
Ft. Stockton, Sierra Blanca and El Paso, Texas, and Tucson, Arizona. LaJuana was a
beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend to so many.
LaJuana was a Christian and had a strong will and affection for everything she put
her mind to and everything she believed in. She also showered her family with so
much love whenever she was with them and loved to spoil her grandchildren; a
love that will be sorely missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Burt, and sister Rosemary.
She is survived by her husband of over 61 years Stanley; and her two children, son
Shane Saathoff and daughter Cara (Clint) Porter; grandchildren Steven Saathoff,
Stacey Saathoff, Nicholas Porter (Erika Ribera) and Andrew Porter; as well as her
brother Ronald (Barbara) Roye and her nieces and nephews; Russell (Michele)
Huffman, Randall (Carol) Huffman, Grady Locker, Marcie Locker, Rhonda Hurst
and Brandy (Richard) Manny, along with many more grand nieces and nephews,
and co-mother-in-law and dear friend, Tina Porter.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at
Bethel Church located at 534 Jones Rd., in Downsville, LA, with Laymond Tucker
officiating, and Internment at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, 1296 Downsville Rd.,
Downsville, immediately following the church service.
