Mr. Kenneth Ray Simmons, age 82 of Jasper, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 in his residence. Mr. Kenneth was born Friday, August 17, 1943 in Verda, Louisiana. He spent his working career as a teacher and coach in the Texas school system spanning over 30 years in education. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mr. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe Simmons, Sr and Eula Lasyone Simmons; siblings, James Monroe Simmons, Jr and Charles R. Simmons.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Elaine Deen, Eleanor Sheffield, and Glenn Simmons.

Graveside services will be held at Verda Cemetery in Verda, Louisiana on Wednesday, December 10, 2025  at 11:00AM  with Rev. Frank Peacock  officiating.
