Mr. Ken Albert Taylor, age 71, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Born on December 28, 1953, in Kirbyville, Texas, Ken was a devoted husband and a faithful member and deacon of Antioch Community Church. He was a man of quiet strength and steadfast faith who found joy in the simple blessings of life. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt, and feed his hummingbirds. He especially loved his family, cherished the Christmas season, and was known for his strong work ethic.

For many years, Ken worked as a truck driver, a profession that reflected his dedication and perseverance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hesely Albert Taylor and Jimmie I. Malone Taylor; his brother, Lew Taylor; and his sister, Josephene T. Ferguson. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 44 years, 11 months, and 7 days, Alyce Kaye Taylor, and his brother, Alan Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Antioch Community Church with Reverends Mike Howell and Hayward Hossler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Serving as pallbearers will be L.C. Barnett, Steven Smith, Kim Grigg, Kenny Martin, Monty Dale Carpenter, and David Nunn. Honorary pallbearers will be Spencer Smith and Doug Standard.
