Katie Florence
Moore
Apr 5, 1972 — Jan 14, 2022
Burlington
Rev. Katie Florence Moore, age 49 of Burlington, Colorado passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022.
Born Wednesday, April 5, 1972, she was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara Jean Spangler Moore and Willie Eugene Moore, Sr; grandparents, Herbert Spangler, Katie Moore Spangler, Willie Moore, and Mary Florence Leone Moore; and great niece, Joplin Rain Mitchel.
Rev. Moore's Salvation Date was November 25, 2012. She was the founder and counselor of OVERCOMERS GROUP. Rev.Katie attended Winnfield Senior High School, Winnfield, LA; In Christ International Bible College Burlington, CO 4 years; and Rhema Bible Training College Broken Arrow, OK 2 years. Rev. Katie was such a loving soul that defied all odds. She was the true definition of an OVERCOMER and was delivered from all of her past. God used her mightily in so many ways, from preaching and sharing her testimony at churches, treatment centers, prisons, high schools or some she just ran into anywhere and she did her calling. She would often tell you how "BOLD" she was and was about to speak the "Raw Truth", and that's exactly what she did. She was able to help so many people, that was what she was all about. So, just remember what all she accomplished and what God guided her to do because she was such a great example of what we all can do to help as many people as we can to accept Jesus as their Savior. Listen to your hearts and let the Holy Spirit guide you. Lastly, we want to Celebrate for Katie because she is finally Home and we know she is so happy. Her legacy lives on in all the people she touched in her life.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Tina Moore Mitchell; brother, Willie Eugene Moore, Jr.; son, Cody Guillory; nephews, Robert Mitchell, Kaleb Moore (Brianna), Justis Moore (Naomy); nieces, Ariel Mitchell, Britney Daniel (Trenton), Alaina Palmer (Michael), Hailey Broomfield (Dakota), Krystal Wood, Matthew and Wesley Moyer, Carla Moyer Hensley, Desiree Coleman (Noah) (Crystal); great nieces & nephews, Tobias Mitchell, Alan & Jackson Palmer, Koda Broomfield, Matteo Moore, and Kaia Moore,

This was written by a great friend of Katie's and touched all the family. Put into words that we couldn't. Thank You So much.
You stormed into our lives before we knew what had hit us.
"Hurricane Katie Moore" I called you then-
I later learned that I could call you 'Friend'.
It's just 3-1/2 years.
It feels like I have known you forever.
But then, you made us all feel that way, Katie.
I have heard many say that you were their best friend.
And they were speaking the truth, each one.
When you gave yourself to be a friend-
You did it the only way you knew how-
With your whole heart.
With everything you had.
In your rawness -- and in your realness;
In your loudness -- and in your laughter...
You had only one purpose: His Kingdom
You had only one gear: Forward
You had only one thought: People
Where this life sought to tear you down-
You sought only to raise others up.
When this life, to you, was unfriendly-
The more you were there for the friendless.
Bitterness engraved you an invitation...
You responded with the love of Christ.
You let yourself become His.
And He let you become ours.
You were 'our Katie.'
________________________________
We will miss you dearly-
But through faith in Christ-
We will see you again.
On that Day, when:
"The Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout-
with the voice of the Archangel-
and with the trump of God..."
There you will be, close beside Him- (with only slightly less volume)
--and we will hear it...
"WHOOOOO!!!"
"HAAAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAAAAAH!!!"
"WHOOOOOO!!!
Should any ask:
"What is THAT??"
...we will already know
...That's our Katie
