Kathryn Marie Corbett, age 99 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021.

Born Saturday, December 24, 1921 in Verda, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her father and mother, John Wesley Harkins and Mamy Johnston Harkins; first husband Buster McManus, second husband Arnold Lee Corbett; one sister Gloria Nell Young; brothers J. W. Harkins, C.W. Harkins, Charles Harkins, and Harold Harkins.

Mrs. Corbett spent her working career in sales at U.B. Carpenter's Department Store in Winnfield. She had a great love for all her family, and certainly was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her sweet spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Jerry McManus (wife Carolyn); daughter Brenda Carter (husband Lee Edwin);stepson Steve Corbett; grandchildren Tony McManus, and Tracy McManus; great grandchildren Trey McManus, Brad McManus, Kasaey Renois, and Toni McMallister; she was blessed with eleven Great-Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Southern Funeral Home from noon until service time.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle McGrew and Rev. Bruce Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow in New Jerusalem Cemetery near Winnfield
