Ms. Julia Lynn Walker, age 68 of Sikes, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Ms. Walker was a member of The Family Church of Winnfield where she loved her church family and made many friends. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting, reading, outdoors, and caring for others.

Born Friday, August 6, 1954 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Hilbert and Lucille Adams Walker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her aunt, Sue Rowell; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Hines and Rev. Nathan Newton officiating. Interment will be private for the family in Hurricane Grove Cemetery, in Sikes.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 10:30 AM until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Tim Crain, Michael Baker, Jeremy Underwood, Kevin McDaniel, Mark Green, and Tommy Chandler. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Crain, Billy Crain, J. L. Crain,
Kevin Crain.
