Mr. Joseph Edward Blake, age 72 of Dodson, Louisiana passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Born Monday, October 16, 1950 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Captain Smith Blake and Hazel Wallett Blake; sister, Judy Rice.

Mr. Blake was retired and loved the outdoors and his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jackie Blake; daughter, Chasaty Blake; son, David Horn (Eve); grandchildren, Devin Primm, Victoria Primm, and Edward Horn; siblings, Lurlene Dowden, Linda Jones, Bettie Campbell, Rebecca Blake and Shelia Thomisee.
