Rev. John Randolph Fleming, Sr., 77 of Monroe, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

John was born in Oak Grove, Louisiana on August 8, 1946, to the union of Rev. Alton Franklin Fleming and Ida Viola (Hall) Fleming. He served his country in the Air Force and worked as an officer in the Monroe Police Department. However, John's true calling was to serve the Lord and all people, which he did with passion and dedication.

Rev. John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol Ann Fleming of 54 years, two brothers Irving Ray Fleming, and Ernest Franklin Fleming, and his sister Patricia Ann (Fleming) Hatten.

Those left to cherish his memory and miss him are his son John R. Fleming, II & wife Tenna, of Monroe, two grandsons John R. Fleming, III "Tripp", Grandson and Cooper Fleming, a granddaughter Anna McKenzi Fleming, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2023, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens, from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens with Rev. Ricky Gresham and Rev. Scotty McDowell officiating. Rev. John will be laid to rest in the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Rhinehart.

Honored to serve Bro. John and the family as pallbearers are Craig Fleming, Jason Gresham, Tripp Fleming, Eric Terral, Chris McClure, and John Michael Sampognaro. Honorary pallbearers are Ted Benton, Don Kemp, and Tommy Terral.
