Jetta Holmes age 57 of Winnfield, La passed to her eternal life on January 17 ^th , 2022, at her residence.  Born on March 21, 1964, to the union of James William Freeman Sr & Willie Faye (Wise) Freeman in Pineville, La.  She is preceded in death by both parents and her beloved husband of 30 years Jeffery Bruce Holmes, along with our "Cousin Little Bubba" Billy Freeman.

Ms. Holmes was a homemaker for many years while her husband worked. For all those years opening her heart and her home to anyone who needed her. Loving with her whole heart always. Her fur babies were her world, leaving behind "Tink-Tink" and her "Bella" (BeBe), and her not so trusty "Bandit" the coon.

Those left to cherish her memory include her dear friend Bubba Ward, and her children: Jeremy Cook of Winnfield, Ashley Cook of California, and Decoda Cook of Arkansas; grandchildren: Hunter, Peggy, Dawson, Jayce, Jillian, Jess, Jalena, and Alexis; her bonus children Polly Leonardo of Arkansas, Bobby and Donnie Ward of Louisiana; her sisters Terrie (Rodger) Guin, Destanie (Jason) Mixon both of Winnfield, Robin (Thomas) McCreery of Dry Prong, and a brother James William (Charlene) Freeman Jr. of Ravenden, Arkansas.  She was also Nana to several nieces and nephews, along with countless friends and a host of other family.

A memorial service will be held on Friday January 21, 2021 at 11:00A.M. at Corinth Baptist Church in Winnfield with Bro. John L. Mixon officiating. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.southernfuneralhome.com
