Mr. Jessie Ira Jones, 29, of Trout, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, in Winnfield, Louisiana. He was born on April 29, 1994, in Urania, Louisiana, and was a resident of Trout.

Jessie was known for his love of motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He was also a talented tattoo artist and enjoyed spending time expressing his creativity through drawing. Above all, he cherished his role as a father and was deeply devoted to his son.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles King, paternal grandfather, Dale Jones, and cousin, Jessica Otwell.

Jessie is survived by his son, Alton Ray Bonnett, his parents, Rodney Glenn Jones (Amanda) of Trout, Louisiana, and Nancy King Hightower (Philip) of Eros, Louisiana, and his paternal grandmother, Elaine Jones. He is also survived by his siblings, Nikki Atkins (Jerred), Bubba Hightower, Brittany Witherington (Ben), Matthew Jones (Emilie), Patrick Hightower (Destiny), Delaney Arrington (Koby), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in the chapel at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.

Friends are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until time of services.
