Mr. Jerry Lynn "Twinkie" Johnson, age 58 of Calvin, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022.

Born Friday, April 3, 1964 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Viola Strickland; and paternal great grandparents, Fred and Ruby Johnson.

Mr. Johnson enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as hunting and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory include his his parents, Roxie L. Strickland Johnson and James R. Johnson; son, Lane Johnson (Sydney); two grandchildren, Kase and Korleigh Johnson; sisters, Terri Mercer (Jerry), Kerri Jean McKinny (Clint), Kathy Heard (Ross), and Dawn Tucker (Charles); brothers, James R. Johnson, Jr. (Bernice) and Dillan Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Carpenter and Rev. Billy Ver Hoef officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, near Calvin.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Phillip Mercer, Ross Heard, Jerry Mercer, Tim Carpenter, Lane Johnson, and David Greer.
