Jerry Lynn Lester, age 72 of Jonesboro, passed away on December 29, 2022.  Mr. Jerry will be remembered by many for being a hard worker for the town of Jonesboro.  He retired after 29 years of employment.  He loved his pets and enjoyed their company.  He also loved too cheer on and watch sports of all varieties.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Shirley Keith (Shelby), Barbara Lester, Judy Lester, Tammy Ashby (Pete); special friend, Polly Griffith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessy Lester; parents, Otto and Adell (Hawkins) Lester.
