Mr. Jerry Nealy LaCroix, age 81 of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023.

Born Friday, July 25, 1941 in Montgomery, Louisiana, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Mr. LaCroix was preceded in death by his parents, Lisso and Isa Roberts LaCroix; his wife of 34 years, Mary Alice Lovette LaCroix; siblings, Sonny LaCroix and Julia LaCroix; grandson, Darren Treadway; granddaughter, Cathy Ayala; son-in-law, David Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Chuck LaCroix (Debbie), Jerry LaCroix (Dana), Dawn LaCroix, Sheila Williams and Alan LaCroix (Judy); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and seven great-great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Northside Baptist Church with Reverends Chuck LaCroix, Alan LaCroix and Scott Tilton officiating. Interment will follow in Verda Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Adam Thornton, Anthony Bridges, Anthony Wehunt, Ben Wehunt Cameron Bryant, Charlie Thornton, Chris LaCroix, Eric LaCroix, Heath Dubois, Jerry LaCroix, Moose Thompson and Rivers Pinder. Honorary pallbearers will be Houston Wall and Alecia Wiley.
