Jennifer Barnes Keith of Dodson, Louisiana passed from this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 2,1947 in Springhill, Louisiana to the late Edward "Ed" Robert Barnes and Ada Chaddick Barnes, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dodson, Louisiana. Family gatherings during the holidays was her favorite time of year. She loved to give gifts and was an instant friend
to whomever she met. Not sure she ever met a stranger. If you visited her, you were sure to leave with a snack bag or some sort of knick-knack.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Whetstone; brothers, Bobby Barnes and Gale Barnes.

Those left to cherish her sweet memory are her husband, William Keith of Dodson, La.; daughter, Jessica Canerday (Brian) of Calvin, La.; sons, Terry Vines ( Mary) and Shawn Vines (Tammy) both of Dodson, La.; sister, Phyliss Fontenot (Joe) of Lafayette, La.; brothers, Harry Barnes (Cindy) and Dale Barnes (Sandy) both of Jonesboro, La.; stepsons, Billy and Pat Keith; grandchildren, Elizabeth Brunet (Hunter),TJ Vines (Tiffany), Hayden Vines, Krystal Hubbard (Lathan), Hunter Vines, Jacob Pullig, Jaydan Pullig, Jared Keith, Daniel Keith, Eli Keith, Maggie Matuschka (Tom), Layton Keith, and Marissa Keith; 9 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and her precious fur baby Ruby.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Dodson from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Dodson, La. with Gary Robertson and Lathan Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow at the Siloam Cemetery in Gansville, Louisiana.

Those serving the family as pallbearers are TJ Vines, Jacob Pullig, Hunter Vines, Hayden Vines, Daniel Barnes, Lathan Hubbard and Pat Keith.
