Jena Louise Conner, 47, of Willits, California went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2024, at her home.  She was born on November 20, 1976, in Oakland, CA.

Services will be held at the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Carl Gulde and Rev. Mickey Hudnall officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:00 AM until the time of services at 2:00 PM. Jena will be laid to rest in the Graham Cemetery Under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

Jena graduated from Redwood Christian High School, San Leandro, CA in 1994. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Vanderbilt University in 1998 and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1999.

She was dedicated to her work serving as Deputy Director of Family and Children's Services of Mendocino County in Ukiah, CA.  Though Jena did not have children of her own, she made a positive impact on hundreds of children during her 24 years there.

Jena was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Ukiah, CA. She Loved traveling with family, painting, crafting, and watching football, especially her Michigan Wolverines.

Those Jena leaves to cherish her memories are her parents Tommy and Ramona (Graham) Conner of Corinth, Texas, and one sister Amelia "Amy" (Conner) Jones of Denton, Texas, and a nephew Conner Jones of Nashville, Tennessee, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jena was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Morris and Mattie "Tincy" Graham of Nebo, Louisiana, and Buck and Myrtle Conner of Beaumont, Texas, as well as one aunt and three uncles.

We will all miss her beyond words but have the Blessed hope of seeing her again at the Great Reunion with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
