Mrs. Jeanette Best Warner, age 81 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Born Wednesday, November 1, 1939 in Simmsboro, Louisiana, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnfield where she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her family, friends and church and will be remembered for her sweet-spirited soul.

Mrs. Warner was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Warner; parents, E. J. and Dorothy Jones Best; children, John Warner and Penny Warner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Steve Buckelew (Sonia) and Art Buckelew (Reba); daughter-in-law, Kathy Warner; grandchildren, Lindsay Ledesman (Noe), Gabi Buckelew, Cameron Buckelew, Seth Buckelew, Kyle Buckelew, Calli Buckelew, Morgan, Jackson, & Maggie Warner; great-grandchildren, Cofi Buckelew, Addisyn & Aryana Ledesman and Veronica.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Winnfield with Rev. Richard DeBusk and Dr. Jerry Pipes officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Cameron Buckelew, Seth Buckelew, Noe Ledesman, Jordan Gray, Morgan Warner and Jackson Warner.
