Jamie Sue Dickson, age 71 of Kilgore, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Born Monday, September 21, 1953, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her parents, James M. Dickson and Birdie Dickson; her sisters, Cathy Dickson, Cheryl Dickson, Caroline Albarado, Sandra Floyd; and her great-granddaughter, Harmony Rose Padron.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Cathy Shelton and husband Scotty of Kilgore, Texas; son, Travis Speed and wife Katie of Natchitoches, LA.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Sanders of Denham Springs, LA. and Donna Johnson of Winnfield, LA. Jamie Sue will be greatly missed by all who opportunity to make her aquaintance.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, Louisiana from 11:00AM  until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, also on Thursday  at 1:00PM.   Interment will follow in New Jerusalem Cemetery, in Winnfield.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Travis Speed, Nathan Shelton, Sterling Shelton, Scotty Shelton, Raymond Romero, and Randy Johnson.
