James Huey Poole, age 60 of Jena, Louisiana passed from this life on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

He was born on Saturday, March 14, 1964, in Jena, Louisiana, to the union of Verion "Pee Wee" Huey Poole and Frieda Nell (Korn) Poole. He worked for many years at Plastipak in Pineville, Louisiana.

James is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Peggy D. Poole.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Kathy (Poole) Culp, of Jena, a nephew Thomas Culp, of West Monroe, a niece Lindsay (Culp) Powe & husband Colby, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, great niece Alli Powe, also of Fayetteville, a special friend/cousin Paula Poole, of Jena, and a host of other cousins, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in the Randall Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Sanson officiating. Services are under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.
