James "Jim" Mirron Zeagler, Sr. age 63 of the Summerville Community, Louisiana passed from this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

He was born on Friday, September 9, 1960, in Jena, Louisiana, to the union of Carl Mirron Zeagler and Ruth Marcelle (Walpole) Kelley.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Those left to love and miss him are his wife of 30 years Nila (Eubanks) Zeagler,  a son Jamie Zeagler of Lafayette, LA,, a daughter April (Jones) Francis & husband David of Jena, a brother Jack Zeagler & wife Vicki of the Belah Community,  a sister Jenny (Zeagler) Kight & husband Scott of Dry Prong, La, two grandsons Weston Francis & wife Morgan, Eli Zeagler, a granddaughter Kassey Allen & husband Chet, two  great grandsons Waylon Francis, Luke Allen, two great granddaughters  Ashlynn Francis, Hattie Francis, a special uncle & aunt Dick & Mattie Zeagler of Jena, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Pritchard Baptist Church, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday morning at 9:00AM until Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Pritchard Baptist Church with Rev. Brenton Smith officiating. Jim will be laid to rest in the Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery, of the Summerville Community, following the service under the directions of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve Jim and the family as pallbearers are Bob Kern, Benny Jones, Will Ratcliff, Michael Zeagler, Brayton Reeves, and Grayson Walpole, Honorary Pallbearers are Larkin Jackson, James Mason, Kevin Paul, and his grandchildren Weston & Morgan Francis, Eli Zeagler, Kassey & Chet Allen, Waylon Francis, Luke Allen, Ashlynn Francis, and Hattie Francis.
