Jackie Ray Dickey, Sr., age 63 of Olla, Louisiana passed from this life on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

He was born to the union of William Joseph Dickey and Vera Beatrice (Austin) Dickey on Thursday, February 4, 1960, in Urania, Louisiana. He was retired from West Frazier Lumber in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jackie Ray "JJ" Dickey, Jr., and a brother Doyle Dickey,

Those left to love and miss him are his wife of 40 years, Patricia Ann (Ireland) Dickey of 40 years, a son Dustin Dickey & wife Felicity, of Grayson, LA,  a daughter  Brandie (Dickey) Womack & husband Zack, of Olla, LA, two brothers Gary Dickey, of Kelly, LA, and  Don Dickey & wife Heather, of Urania, LA,  nine grandchildren  Kolman Cummings, Braedan Cummings, Nathan Cummings, Lizzie Garner, Claire Dickey, Marley Womack, Wyatt Womack, Iley McHenry, and Kulter Womack, a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, beginning at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, January 18, 2024, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens, from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2024, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens with Rev. Evelyn Thompson and Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Jackie will be laid to rest in the Eden Cemetery, in the Eden Community, Trout, La. under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve Jackie and his family as pallbearers are Word Lindsey, T.J. Ireland, Warren Ireland, Don Dickey, Jr., Zack Dickey, and Micheal Dickey. Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons Kolman Cummings, Braedan Cummings, Nathan Cummings, Kulter Womack, and Wyatt Womack.
