Rev. Huey Pierce White, age 93 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Born Saturday, May 5, 1928 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Arminda Tarver White and Joseph Alexander White; wife, Bernice Taylor White; brother, W.A. "Sonny" White; sister, Elda Adams; and son-in-law, Doyle McManus.

Rev. White was a minister of the Gospel for 70 plus years. When not required at the church, Bro. White enjoyed fishing, hunting and his greatest hobby was gardening.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Arville White (Nelda) and Elwin Darell White (Evon); daughter, Judith Ann McManus; 7grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Christian Fellowship Church, 8609 Hwy. 34 West, Winnfield, LA 71483, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Hayward Hossler, Rev. Bo Johnson, and Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Community Cemetery, in Brewton's Mill, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Colby McManus, Trey Robinson, Matt Austin, Larry Robinson, Ricky Young, and Mike Womack. Jimmy Gates and Billy Lewis will serve as honorary pallbeares.
