Huey Kenneth Martin, 67 of Goldonna, LA, passed away Januray 3, 2025 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He was born August 9, 1957 in Jonesboro, LA to parents Huey P Martin and Annie Margaret Martin.

Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife Paula shared a wonderful 49 years of marriage together. They were blessed with two wonderful children Audura and Kenny Martin. Anyone who knew him, knew he loved to talk and that he never met a stranger. In his earlier years Kenneth worked in the oilfield. He later retired as a STG for the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Department, where he met a multitude of young men, whom he called "his kittens". He also enjoyed fishing with his best bud, Puddles. Reading his word and spending time with his family is what he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Huey P Martin and Annie Margaret Martin, and two sisters: Beverly Spillers and Margaret Ann Minchew. He is survived by his wife Paula Martin, daughter Audura Fife (Shad), son Kenny Martin (Ashlee), grandchildren: Macy Martin (Christian), Micah Martin, Taylor Martin, Riley Martin, Carlee Martin, and Jaxon Martin, furbabies Puddles and Molley, sister Patricia Patterson, nieces and nephews Julie, Huey, Bryan, Ryan, Heather, Richie, Shane, Angie, Amanda, Danny Ray Jr, Jackie Lyn, and a host of great & great-great nieces and nephews, friends and other loved ones.

Visitation will be at Goldona Baptist Church on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resum on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Goldonna Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Dupree, Kenny Martin, Rev. Shawn Garner, and Rev. Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Goldonna Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Brian Powell, Shane LaCaze, Mike Wilson, Colin Crow, Derrik Caballero, Victor Jones, Brandon Smith, and Sammy Ragan. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Ray Spillers Jr, Huey Patterson, Shane Minchew, Tony Hester, Richie Minchew and Steven Clanton. The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Department Honor Gaurd will present the flag.
