Hollis Evan Prohn, Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully at his residence in Atlanta, Louisiana, on April 10, 2026. A man known for his strong work ethic and dedication, Evan spent his life providing for and caring for those he loved. He found great joy in riding motorcycles and spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Above all else, Evan cherished his family, who were the center of his life and the source of his greatest pride and happiness.

Evan is survived by his children, Leslie Vallee & husband, David, Lisa Prohn, Amy Prohn and Julia Prohn; sister, Bonnie (Prohn) Rieson; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hollis Evan Prohn, Sr., mother, Lillie Mae (Ramsey); grandson, Billy Adams; sisters, Linda Bryant, Dorothy Miller and Dianne Knox; and half-sister, Lillie Belle Jones.

Friends may visit with the family at Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro, on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 10:30 AM until 12:00 noon.  Bro. Blaine Ussery will conduct the funeral service set to begin at 12 noon.  Burial will follow at the Jonesboro Cemetery under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.
