George Wesley O'Bryan, age 65 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away at his residence October 26, 2021 after a lengthy illness.

Mr. O'Bryan was born in Winnfield, Louisiana, September 18, 1956. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a avid deer hunter and fisherman. He also loved watching classic western movies.

He is the son of the late W.A. O'Bryan and the late Doris Hickman O'Bryan. He was also preceded in death by his sister LaVerne Parish and his niece Cathy Ayla.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children Misty Bazar and Stacy O'Bryan, grandchildren Rogan and Callie, his siblings William O'Bryan, Donald O'Bryan, Ronald O'Bryan (Susie), Cecil O'Bryan (Kathy), James O'Bryan (Carol), Carol O'Bryan (Bill), Cindy Glenn (Larry), Debbie LaCroix (Chuck), Elizabeth O'Bryan and Ethel Davis (Wayne). He is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.

Palilbearers will be Ronald O'Bryan, Donald O'Bryan, Cecil O'Bryan, James O'Bryan, Ricky Griffin, Josh O'Bryan, Bill Hagan and Nathan Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be William O'Bryan, John Stewart and Robert Carhee.
