Gayle Marie Dauzat Jordan, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, unexpectedly passed from this life in Sikes, LA on March 19, 2025 at the age of 72. Born in New Orleans, LA, Gayle was known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She was a pillar of strength and a source of joy for all who knew her. Wherever Gayle was, there was sure to be jokes and laughter. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, baking, watching movies, and fishing, however, she couldn't swim a lick.

Gayle is preceded in death by her parents, Hixon and Mazie Dauzat, brothers, Jason, Leroy, and Dee Dauzat, and one sister, Linda Hinson. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Debra (Autrey Jordan, Jr.) and Rebecca (B.J.), brother, Jack Dauzat, sisters, Lisa Strother (James), Nancy Morris (Emanuel), and Patsy Norman, 7 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She will forever be one of the most beautiful memories we keep locked in our hearts. A memorial will be held at a later date for those who wish to celebrate the life of Gayle.
