Gary Wayne Anglin, age 65 of the Searcy Community, Trout, Louisiana passed from this life on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Christus Cabrini Hospital.

He was born Wednesday, June 3, 1959, in Jena, Louisiana, to the union of his parents Loys Luther Anglin and Opal Marie (Thornton) Anglin. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 20 years Cynthia "Smiley" Anglin, and a sister, Helen Webb.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Chris Anglin of the Searcy Community, step-son Seth Franklin, of Jena, step-daughter Toni Franklin, of Jena, three sisters Janice Minks, of Jena, Brenda Bradford, of Jena, and Connie Lloid (Carl), of Alexandria, a brother Donald Anglin (Judy), of the Searcy Community, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in the Belah Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Sanson officiating.

Gary will be laid to rest in the Belah Cemetery, next to his father under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are, Chris Anglin, Seth Franklin, Carl Lloid, Adam Walters, Dewayne Cockerham, and Josh Reid.
