Freddie Gail Berry, age 70 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Born Wednesday, February 28, 1951 in Houston, Texas, she was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Angie Varnell Garrett; and her husband Jerry Berry.

Mrs. Freddie spent her working career as an R.N., enjoyed gardening in her flowers, sewing, quilting and crafting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Angela Fortenberry and husband Gaylyn, son, Jason Berry; her grandchildren, Brandon, Jonathan, Jacob, and Samantha; one sister, Cheryl Lynn Garrett; and two nieces, Melanie, and Lindsey.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Bethel Congragational United Methodist Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana with Rev. Charlotte Birdwell officiating. Interment is under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes of Winnfield.
