Francis Perry Little, Sr., age 96 of Jena, Louisiana was received into Heaven from his home in the evening of Saturday, January 25, 2025.

He was born to the union of Robert William Little, Sr and Addie Baker Little on Friday, March 30, 1928 in Melville, Louisiana.
.
Mr. Perry enjoyed several hobbies during his long life, including gardening and keeping a daily diary for many years. In his younger years, he and his wife johnnie had fun together square dancing and bowling. Also, he looked forward to spending special time with his brothers on trips to Branson. Perry loved to talk to others and share stories of his life with family and friends. Perry also loved listening to beautiful music, especially that of Andre` Rieu. A little-known fact about Perry was the he was a good speller of words. He was the spelling champion of Melville High in 1938.

However, the thing that Perry cherished the most was family. The influence on his family was demonstrated through his words and deeds. He encouraged them to "never give up" and ensured then that "everything will be all right". Helping others was important to Perry and he wanted his family members to do the same. Simply put, the world was a better place with Perry in it. He will be missed by many friends and family.

Mr. Perry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 70 years Johnnie Taylor Little, two sons Robert D. "Bob" Little, Francis P. "Frank" Little, Jr, his only sister Bessie Marie Brooks, three brothers Robert W. "Buddy" Little, Jr., Wesley Baker Little, and Charles Ray Little.
