Frances Jane Hines, age 85, of Olla, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Winnfield, Louisiana. Born on October 24, 1939, in Springhill, Louisiana, to the late Quincy E. Elliott and Lee Belle Crain Elliott, Frances dedicated her life to serving others with kindness and compassion as a devoted caregiver. A faithful member of Life Church in Columbia, Louisiana, her quiet strength and enduring faith were evident to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred Hines, and her brother Bobby Elliott. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sheri Ward and husband Danny of Olla; sons, Keith Smith and wife Peggy, and Terry Stamper; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
