Floyd Horace Schillinger, age 91 of Trout, Louisiana passed from this life on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

He was born on Sunday, November 29, 1931, in Quincy, Illinois, to the union of Horace Thomas Schillinger and Mary Caroline (McCormick) Schillinger.

Mr. Floyd is preceded in death by his wife Juanita W. Schillinger, his parents and his brother Charles John Schillinger.

Those left to love and miss him are his sister Shirley Ann Miller, of Georgetown, Texas, two nieces Karen Schillinger, of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Vicki Schillinger, of Houston, Texas, one nephew David Miller, of Atlanta, Georgia, his extended family the Loes and a lifetime of friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in the Olla Cemetery, Olla, Louisiana under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve Mr. Floyd as Pallbearers are Ronnie Loe, Reggie Loe, Jim Loe, Jim Justiss, Adam Williams, and Dwan Stringer. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim McCartney and Dan Stringer.
