Ethel Dean Frazier, passed from this life on May 05, 2021. Ethel was born to the union of Walter S. Whatley and Florence A. Price both of Trout, LA., on July 01, 1933. She spent her life working and serving her community in the Hurricane Creek Baptist church and earned a Vo-tech Certificate, for Patient Activity Coordinator at where she worked at LaSalle Nursing Home.  She was survived by her daughters Paula Norris and Reba Busby. Sons Charles Lee Norris and Walter Steve Norris and his wife Shelly. Seven Grand children and Eleven Great grandchildren. Two sisters Sue Bradford and Doris Andrews.

Mrs. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Vida R. LaCroix, Clarice Cowart, and Bess Frye, her brother Charlie Whatley, and her husbands, Calvin Norris and Harvey Frazier.

Visitation and Service will be at Kinner & Stevens Funeral home in Jena, Saturday May 08, 2021, beginning at 1:00Pm and commencing following the funeral service at 3:00Pm. Interment will be at the Hurricane Creek Cemetery in White Sulfur Springs Community. Rev. Byron Norris will officiate and Kinner & Stevens will direct the services. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are, Daney Stringer, Charles Leckie, Ed Bradford, Hansen Stringer, Doug Norris, and Keith McCartney.
