Esaw Melvin Girlinghouse, age 90 of the Belah Community, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

He was born to the union of Archie Brannon and Willie Ophelia (Lee) Girlinghouse on December 3, 1932, in the Goodpine Community, Louisiana.

Mr. Girlinghouse is preceded in death by a son Cordell Girlinghouse, his parents, his only sister Willie Melvina (Girlinghouse) Hatfield, and a brother Trax Girlinghouse.

Those left to love and miss him are his wife of 22 years Jo Anne Girlinghouse,  a daughter Lorie Heil & husband James, of  St Francisville, LA, a son Corey "Ben" Girlinghouse & wife Monica, of St Francisville, LA,  two step-daughters Sonia Johnson & husband Glenn, of the Goodpine Community,  Rhonda McDowell & husband Robby, of the Searcy Community, a step-son Joel Esters & wife Cathy, of Jena, two brothers Archie Lee Girlinghouse, of the Nebo Community, and Judge Girlinghouse & wife Mary, of Walker, LA, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Girlinghouse will be held graveside in the Nebo Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, with Rev. Mike Russell officiating.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Ben Girlinghouse, Robby McDowell, Glenn Johnson, Joel Esters, Dillan McDowell, and James Heil.

Honorary pallbearers are Marshall Sanson and Kerry Girlinghouse.
