Mrs. Dorothy Marie Cameron age 82 of Winter Haven, Florida passed from this life on Saturday, June 11, 2022, in her residence in Winter Haven, Florida.

Born Thursday, October 26, 1939 in Natchitoches, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Crayton and Estelle Hunter Gentry. She was married to the late Frank Cameron for 35 years before his passing. During her working career, Mrs. Dorothy worked at Northwest State University cafeteria in culinary arts, and later working at Gibson Department Store of Winnfield. She was a long time member of Northside Baptist Church, and made her final home in Winter Haven, Florida.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Gary Cameron (Misty) of Montgomery, LA and Terry Cameron (Diane) of Montgomery, LA; daughters, Sandra McPhee (Kevin) of Winter Haven, FL; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronnie Gentry, Danny Gentry, Emily Welch, Doris Hines, Billie Jones, and Vickie Gentry; daughter-in-law, Pam Cameron.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Cameron; parents, Crayton and Estelle Hunter Gentry; son, Kenneth Cameron; great-grandson Cory Cameron; two brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Tilton officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Montgomery, LA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Northside Baptist Church Montgomery, Louisiana and again on Thursday from 9AM until time of services.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Michael Cameron, Mitchell McPhee, Terry Cameron, Garry Cameron, JR Cameron, Anthony Wehunt, and Robert Carter.
