Doris Juanita Rousselle, a beloved member of the Winnfield, LA community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on Friday, October 28, 1938, in Pollock, LA, Doris lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her love for family and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, John Wiley "Bud" Mayo and Darthy Mae Stamps Mayo; her brothers, Richard "Elmo" Mayo, J.T. Mayo, and Jesse Mayo; and her children, John Houston Berry and Carol Lanell Berry.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennie Naquin of Winnfield, LA; her son, Randy Michael Berry (Tamara); her cherished grandchildren, Jarrod Naquin, Joshua Naquin, Christopher Naquin, Mitchell Lee Naquin, Nathaniel, John A. Berry,  Jackson and Zachary Berry, and Dallas, Jamison, and Michael; one great grandchild, Brandon Lee Naquin. Doris is also fondly remembered by a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Throughout her life, Doris touched the hearts of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. She will be remembered for her generosity, her gentle spirit, and the many lives she enriched with her presence.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 11:00Am in Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery with Rev. Russell Jones officiating. Interment is under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes of Winnfield.

Proud to serve as pallbearers are Jarrod Naquin, Joshua Naquin, John  "Burt" Cockerham, and Christopher L. Naquin.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Doris's memory.
