Mrs. Doris Jean Goodeaux, age 79 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Winn Parish Medical Center.

She was born Sunday, May 31, 1942 to the union of Francis M. and Velma Catherine Robinson Foster.

She was a member of Winnfield First Assembly of God. One of her greatest joys was her trips to the Dollar Store in Jonesboro with family, who held a special place in her heart. She loved shopping, her church, and her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Addless Goodeaux; and her parents; three brothers and two sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Marty Goodeaux, and John Goodeaux (wife Ann); grandson, John Maverick Goodeaux (wife Kristian); granddaughter, Shyann Garner (husband Gavin); great granddaughter, Amelia Goodeaux; siblings,  Kaythena Simmons, Glen Fogger, James Foster, and Bill Foster; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Shaun Garner, Rev. Author Robinson, and Rev. Jack Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories, in Winnfield.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM , and again on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 1:30PM until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chris Bruce, Coby Bruce, David Procell, Gavin Garner, Kurtis Garner, and Landon Garner. Serving as honorary will be John Maverick Goodeaux.
