Mrs. Donna Brown Kelly, age 69 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Born Saturday, August 6, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Brown; step-father, Raymond Taylor; brother-in-law, Randy Arnold.

Mrs. Kelly was a member of Calvin Baptist Church after having moved her letter from Trinity Baptist Church in New Iberia. She previously worked in the insurance industry and was most proud of having obtained her LPN license and becoming ward clerk at Winn Parish Medical Center. She was also proud Nanny to Alex, Andrew and Josie Camp.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 51 years, Thomas Ray Kelly; mother, Ruth Coburn Taylor; sons, Chad Kelly, Chris Kelly (Katie), Casey Kelly (Michelle) and Kyle Kelly (Christi); grandchildren, Canaan, Jaden, Daylan, Leighton, Joseph, Kaleb, Zoie, Landen, Dylan, Paris, Riley and Reese; one sister, Brenda Brown Arnold and one brother, James Grant Brown; brother-in-law, Robert Kelly (Melissa); numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Calvin Baptist Church with Rev. Lamar Carpenter and Rev. Billy Ver Hoef officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories in Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be David Arnold, Brad Arnold, Randy Kelly, Colby Kelly, Randy Istre and Matthew Kelly. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
